Me "That sounds nice."
Chi "There's a tree in the middle of it, with a swing. It's next to a lake, too."
Me "Are you for serious?"
Chi "There's a path through the woods to get there. With like a bridge over a stream and stuff."
UM wow. Is this real life? I am absolutely dying to get back home sometime some summer - can you imagine how gorgeous it would be with green leaves and tall grass? *sigh* For now, these winter fields will have to do. Chi Chi (my sister) (Heidi is her real name if you were wondering) donned her senior prom dress that she made all by herself, plus some wintery layers. I'm obsessed with how the fabric floated so nicely in the (chilly) breeze we had.
Take a look!
Chi Chi and I have already started planning our next photoshoot when she comes to visit Utah in March. Ready for it? Heidi in the Mountains. Oooooh it's gonna be good.

What a gorgeous session! Love your compositions, light, texture, posing ... its beautiful! I miss Heidi...I was a YW adviser in Woodbridge for a time. I think you had moved out right before or after we moved into the ward. This was my absolute go-to location for photoshoots when we were living there - it's a total dream! What lenses did you primarily use for this shoot? I'm shopping for a new one and I'd love your input!
Thank you JoDee!! I really wish I were living in CT right now, this has got to be a beautiful place in all seasons! And it's so versatile. For this shoot I used my 50 mm lens.. nice and simple and always gets the job done. :)
