I am STOKED to share these engagement pictures from a quick visit we took to Rexburg, Idaho, last month! Our friend Josh had the idea to propose to his girlfriend during a "photo session". It was easy enough for me to go along with the idea because I really did want to shoot some pictures in the Island Park area (the region of Idaho just outside of Yellowstone National Park), regardless of whether or not the couple was engaged. The ring that Josh ordered didn't arrive in time, because of our tight schedule, so he improvised with the sweetest twine ring you could possibly imagine!

Josh proposed overlooking the most scenic lake in Harriman State Park, just outside of Island Park and the beautiful Teton mountains. Their genuine smiles and laughter throughout the engagement pictures was so wonderful capture. It was absolutely perfect and I loved being there to share their special moment!
