What would you do if you only had eight months left in the place you currently live? Okay, I guess it's not that crazy of a concept.. this isn't a "you have 24 hours to live" situation. It's fairly typical if you are going to college or starting a new career. Regardless - leaving my home of Connecticut to go away to school was when I realized, "Wow! I lived in a really unique and beautiful place!" The trees, the old New England architecture, the beaches, the rolling hills, quaint meadows and farms... how did I not realize how special it was?

We often don't realize how good something is until it's gone. But I'm not letting it happen again! So, for these eight remaining months in Utah (before moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota) I want NO PHOTOGRAPHY REGRETS!

You see, I'm naturally bit of a homebody. When I wrote "My Favorite Place to Shoot" post last year, one of the reasons I gave for my answer was that it was SO CLOSE TO HOME. Now that we are eight months away from LEAVING THIS STATE FOREVER and I'm like, no no no! I've gotta see, explore, and SHOOT as much as this place as I can! From the Wasatch mountains in central Utah to the red rock canyons of the south to the deserts in the west and every place in between and beyond. Quite literally I have a Utah photography bucket list for 2017. Before I bite the dust (i.e. move eastward) I hope I can do as much as I can!
